God’s design for salvation is taught:

A. Must have faith:     Hebrews 11:6

B. Must repent:       Luke 13:3

C. Confess Christ to be the Son of God:    Acts 8:37

D. Immersed in water to wash away sins:     Acts 22:16  

Leadership in Christ’s church is:

A. Elders, overseers-bishops or pastors:   I Timothy 3; Titus 1; Acts 20: 22-28

B. Deacons;      I Timothy 3

C. Ministers and members:

       In the church of Christ the minister is not referred to as a Pastor unless he has met the requirements of I Timothy 3 or Titus 1. The minister has no more authority than any other member of Christ’s church.

One final note:

      Christ’s church is not a denomination. It was not created by men nor does it follow the creeds, doctrines, or philosophies of men. We follow Christ, and our creed is the Bible, which is the Word of God. You do not join the church; you are added to it by Christ as you complete your obedience to His plan of salvation; Acts 2:41,47.
